Jars of vandotsch speculaas spice

After weeks spent on comparing jars I have finally decided to use a square 60ml Kilner jar for my jars of vandotsch speculaas spice mix.

Earlier I had already decided about the wording and the font of the jar label.

Actually the font we own, as it is the same font my parents used in the sixties and seventies when they owned their fashion materials shop and wholesale in Amsterdam.

Having now received the first consignment of Kilner jars I have sterialised them. Mixed the spices into vandotsch speculaas spice mix. And finally fill the jars with a wooden spoon. Slow but very therapeutic.

I am sure it will be some time before demand requires me to look at semi-mechanising the filling process of my jars of vandotsch speculaas spice.
